Our Ancestors survived so that we could live in Soul Sovereignty here and now. The Ancestors are coming, the Ancestors are here. Tha na Sinnsearan a' tighinn. Tha na Sinnsearan an seo. Hi folks. Welcome to Radical ReEnchantment. I'm Lezley, the High Priestess of Holy Shit. Still. Still am because it's all holy shit, right? It's all holy shit. So I thought it was about time to share with you what is Radical ReEnchantment? What is that? What is that? When I tell people my website, they're like, what is that Radical ReEnchantment? So radical sounds like a bunch of nut bars, right? Like crazy lunatics. But radical is just, it just means from the root and Radical Re enchantment is returning to the root of the first separation. It's returning. It's not grafting something, it's not pruning, it's not trimming, it's not grafting a new branch. It is transforming from the root and transforming with enchantment. So with magic, with connection to spirit, with connection to intuition and all the ways of being radical, re enchantment is healing. The first belief in separation, which is the separation between land and spirit.

That is the root of Radical ReEnchantment. It is the coming back together into wholeness of land and spirit, living life from the understanding that all of the everything everywhere, all at once is right here with us right now. There's no waiting for later. There's no putting off until the other world, until heaven. It's all here. And our world is consciousness based, not material based. They work together. Material informs consciousness, and consciousness creates material. They work together. No separation, never. Just a mistaken belief. Just a little oopsie that we made into reality. Oops. Oh no. What have we done? There's a three. Tri-Chasag is three-legged in Gàidhlig. It's the triskele, the triskelion. It's the three-legged spiral, which is such a symbolic representation of Gaelic peoples and Celtic cultures. Spiritual and ancestral and cultural practice is embodied within this symbol of the tir-chasag. So I like to use threes.

Threes are my jam, nine is my jam. I love them. And so Radical ReEnchantment has a foundational Tìr agus Anam Fite Fuaite gu Bràth, Manito Aki Inakonigaawin number one, Land and Spirit are Woven and Sewn Together Forever. Number two is Soul Sovereignty. And this is a big one, especially ladies, my ladies, for the women. You are soul sovereign. You do not need to extinguish your ego and melt into the community. You need to stand in your soul sovereign authority to decide what this world means for you. What does it mean? What's important? What's valuable? What do we stand for? What is this life about? It has been for thousands of years decided by men with no input from women about what this world means or creating meaning, creating mythology, creating value, deciding what's valuable. That's now, oh, that's now Soul Sovereignty. You are the authority in your life of what it means and what you create.

That's your Soul Sovereign authority. I believe in your Soul Sovereignty. I believe in that more than anything else for all people. You know why you're here. You know what it means. You know what's important, and it takes courage and effort to get there because we have been brainwashed. We have accepted the authority of others placed upon us by institutions that want to control, that want to determine the narrative, that want to say to us what is real, what matters, what's important, what we can and cannot do, what we can and cannot believe. That's over. You have a personal and particular relationship with spirit, with the unseen, with God, whatever you want to call that. The universe, energy, consciousness, whatever you want to call it. You have a particular and personal relationship with the wholeness, and you have a particular and personal expression of Soul Sovereignty in the world that has never been before and will never be again and is unique to you.

And the wholeness of all of creation needs all of us in Soul Sovereignty, expressing our soul selves as clearly and holy as we can. And that's what I'm here for, to remind you and encourage you to do exactly that. Find and connect to your Soul Sovereignty and root that shit deep into the ground. Join that in wholeness with land and decide for yourself what this life means to you. What does it mean? Why do you want to be here? What do you want to create? What do you want to believe is real? Because reality isn't fixed. It's malleable and flexible, and it's more malleable and flexible than it's ever been before because all of the structures of belief have been crumbling and unshackling and allowing a bigger understanding of what's real inclusion, larger inclusion, enlarging the circle. More and more acceptance and allowing of ways of being.

This is it in Soul Sovereignty. There's a million infinite ways of being that are all accepted and allowed by the creation, by the universe, be you, be your way of being. Be fully yourself in the world and permission and acceptance from anyone else is not required. Just you decide. You decide in relationship with the wholeness. You decide in particular and personal relationship with spirit. You are the expression of spirit in the world of form. It is a beautiful fucking thing and powerful. And it requires courage. Be courageous. This is happening. Be courageous. This is happening. Be courageous. This is happening. Alright. The third part of Radical ReEnchantment for me is Braiding Roots. Because I am on adopted homelands, I am reconnecting to roots. So this is reconnecting to Ancestors, reconnecting to cultural and spiritual roots and practice on land. And so it dual. For those of us in the Celtic diaspora who have been scattered all over the world.

Like little Gaelic seeds, we are required to braid the roots of our Indigenous homelands, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, the Isle of Man. Wherever our ancestral Indigenous roots originated, were required to braid those roots into our adopted homelands. And so we connect to our Indigenous roots and then braid them here with the Indigenous roots of this land. This is honourable, respectful, loving connection to land. And you will find as you connect to your adopted homelands that this comes naturally. Your resonance and interest and love for the land and the people of the land comes naturally. I could not connect to this land and love and belong to this land without having intense kinship feelings for the people of the land because we have kin in common, which is the land. The land has been teaching the people of the land for thousands and thousands of years.

This land turtle island land. You cannot root on this land without braiding your roots with the wisdom and the love that's already here, that is already Tìr agus Anam Fite Fuaite Gu Bràth. Manio Aki Inakonigaawin. There is already an accord and an agreement and a relationship here of land and spirit, and we are not replacing that. We are braiding with that. So in a very real way, our Ancestors were colonized and traumatized and then fled. And it doesn't matter when they fled in the height of the trauma and the colonization, or whether they assimilated and accepted the dominant worldview, none of this was ever really processed or healed. We were disconnected from our Indigenous roots. Then we came to this land, to Turtle Island or our terra or elsewhere on the globe. We came to adopted homelands and then also didn't connect to the land. And you can see that by kind of the horses shit of colonization, the of the exploitation, exploitation of the land, viewing it as a dead thing that can be used for profit alone.
(11:45):
Just the lack of heart and care for the land is evidence of colonization and dominance, belief system dominance, worldview, oppressor, worldview really, and all of that. It's over. It's over. None of us want that. Those that stay in it, I think are really afraid. I mean, that's really what's happening here is the choice between feeling and fear. Do you want feeling or do you want fear? And that's it. That's the courage that's required. I always thought that this was going to be a spiritual revolution for the last 30 years. I thought it was going to be spiritual, but it's not. It's emotional. This is a revolution of feeling. And this is what happens when we open our heart collectively, globally, collectively, globally, individually. All of this is happening on all scales. We are opening our hearts to feel. And in order to do that, we have to feel all the shame and the guilt and the horror and the trauma that our Ancestors didn't heal. So, okay.

Okay. I'm just telling you though, it's beautiful. It's beautiful work. It's beautiful work. And one of the biggest takeaways that I have is the joyful gratitude of my Ancestors for living in the world without shame of who we are, of all of the wild and witchy, magical, earth based, spiritual, intuitive, magic ways that are baked into Gàidhlig cultural and spiritual lineage. I came home, I came home to understanding myself, and it was beautiful and powerful and wanted, wanted and needed. And I heal my Ancestors by living that in the world. They survived intense shaming and rejection of self and beliefs. They survived so that I could live in Soul Sovereignty here and now.
