Welcome to the Time of Magick and Miracles

"This is the truth and the way and the only truth and the final truth and there will be no other truth after this truth."

Not an actual quote from Christianity, but close enough to be recognizable.

I remember how disappointed I was to learn that Christianity says the time of miracles and prophets and prophecy has passed.

"This is it?" I thought, and was disappointed.

Surely there was more to be shared than this? No more miracles? No more magick? No more prophets?

It's not true of course.

How could it be? Has Creator suddenly stopped existing in the world?

Nope.

The need for the miraculous, for the magickal, for the expression of Spirit in the world is evident to me in my desire for stories like Harry Potter and Practical Magic and The Sandman.

We've always had magical stories to turn to however, I think the popularity and need for them is on the rise because supposed "spiritual" institutions in the West have failed to offer sufficient spiritual juice to enrich our experience of the world.

Paganism and the magic of the Draoi and Witches is on the rise in response to our need for the mystical and the unexpected in a Universe we know is designed to delight us and fill us with wonder.

It is, you know.

The world is designed to delight us and fill us with wonder.

Creation is designed to love us and entertain us and teach us and provide us with the miraculous - if we allow Them. If we accept Them. If we are willing to share.

Magick isn't something outside of Creation. Magick comes from the Greek root "magos" or Latin "magus" which is the same as "mage" or "member of the learned class".

To be magickal is to understand what is asked of us and live in harmony with the natural world. Synchronicity is a result of living in magick. Having the Universe respond to our needs is living in magick.

We are all magicians in wholiness.

Expect Miracles

Miracles are our birthright and should be expected daily. Miracles are not once in a lifetime unexplainable events. Miracle comes from the Latin root 'mirus' - wonderful, astonishing, amazing; which comes from an earlier root "smeiros" which means to laugh or smile.

The true miracle is our shared knowing laughter.

The laughter that happens when people are truth-telling and showing up and being real - I call that “knowing laughter.” That’s what happens between people when we recognize the absurdity of the belief that we’re alone in anything.
— Brené Brown

Miracles are delight - the delight in living in a physical world.

A child lives in a world of miracles and magick... until we teach them that time is over. Until we teach them that delight is only for childhood, we teach them that delight ends when they become adults. Remain delighted with yourself and each other and the world around us and we remain living in miracles and magic.

Any institution that wants to claim they have the "final word" or version or truth on Creator is lying. They're just trying to control the power they think they have over the truth. They're trying to remain the "authority" of a spirituality they never controlled in the first place.

The Truth of Creation is endless and unchanging.

We are Spirit, having a physical experience in the physical world (which isn’t separate from Spirit), and our understanding of the wholiness of Creation is in constant change and flux and progression.

How could it be otherwise?

We heal and grow and heal and grow and heal and grow and our ability to embody and share the wholiness of Creation in the world of form changes as we learn and grow.

The idea that this or that is the last truth is laughable and ridiculous. The idea that no one will come with more miracles and prophecy and understanding of Truth to add to our current understanding is laughable and ridiculous.

Welcome back to the time of Magick and Miracles. Welcome back the prophets and prophecy of wholiness. We are here to speak on behalf of Beloved Presence.

We remind each other to delight in our wholiness; for together in all beings, we are Anam.
