Seek to learn your truth and speak your truth and live your truth.
When it comes right down to it, truth is more important to me than love. I will choose an ugly truth over a beautiful lie every day of the week.
How can we truly love if we don't know the truth? How can we live in love if we don't know the truth?
The truth is the courageous path.
It takes strength and heart to learn our truth and not shy away from it. It takes strength and heart to go out into the world and hold our truth out for the world. It is the path of strength.
Deceit is the path of cowards.
There is never a right time for lies. There is never a right time to withhold truth. What are the consequences of truth? Everyone gets the same information. People are free to form their own opinions and choices. People are free to make decisions based in truth.
There are no negative consequences to truth if we're not interested in controlling outcomes. If we are strong enough to allow others the free will to decide for themselves, we will never have a reason to withhold truth.
It's only when we want to control the narrative or manipulate choices or adjust perception do we use deceit. What people think of us is none of our business. If we can only keep people in relationship with us with lies, or only get our needs met with lies, then we still have a lot of sh!t to move.
Lies are the worst.
Seek your truth. Speak your truth.
Remember the First Truth. Everything else will take care of itself.

Lord of the Flies scared the shit out of me.
It was terrible, and relatable. I experienced elementary school as a terrifying and unruly place. The bullying and harassment on school grounds was an awful experience... and I still don't trust any of those kids to this day.
A lot of the stuff we get upset over isn't true and we can't ever know for sure that it's true. Our believing it is true is what disturbs our peace, so to regain peace, we fall back on what we know for sure is true.
